They board quietly. I set the course.

She refers to them as my boys. Both are thirty-two. The term is repeated.

They sit close. Not to each other. To her.

She provides additional statements. Women drink more than men. Volume is increased. Appearance is modified. Financial criteria are prioritized. Duration of relationships is reduced.

Her tone stabilizes with repetition. My boys are different. Sensitive. Loyal. Present.

She does not use their names. They are addressed together.

She speaks. No interruption occurs.

Once, she says, they were asked to leave. To work. To separate. They refused. She recounts this as proof.

See, she says. They know.

In this environment, gravity is optional. Dependency persists.

My boys. Volume reduced.

They remain in place. Elapsed time exceeds expectation.

Arrival.

She stands first. They follow.

No deviation is observed.

I carry people. Their words travel with them.
